Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has strongly denied a trending report that alleged she was unhappy about not being married.
On Sunday, a blog reported that the actress, in an interview, expressed sadness over remaining single despite being widely admired for her beauty and public appeal.
But in a post shared via her X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, Adunni firmly refuted the claim, calling it completely untrue. She also accused the blog of spreading falsehoods purely to boost engagement.

The 48-year-old actress didn’t stop there — she issued a 24-hour ultimatum, demanding the immediate removal of the misleading story or face legal consequences.
“I kindly request that you take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team,” she wrote.
“I do not appreciate the fact that you’re using my name to peddle false news and articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement.”
By the time this report was filed, the controversial post had already been deleted.
Adunni, who is of Nigerian and American descent, is a mother to two boys, Ayden Young and D’marion Young.
Back in 2017, she shared that she was never legally married to her children’s father. She ended their eight-year-long relationship, explaining that it was not working and had no future.
