However, the team which has never qualified for the FIFA World Cups are determined to hammer the Super Eagles in order to qualify for the Round of 16.

Particularly, the Monaco player, ‘Pele’ as nicknamed has vowed to spare no efforts to grab their first-ever win at the 33rd edition of AFCON.

Pele told Goal:  “It is our ambition to qualify and we are not giving up on that, we must do everything to defeat Nigeria because it is very important for us.”

“We will fight with everything we have and if we play as we did against Egypt, we will qualify. We want everyone at home proud of us.”

The AFCON’s tie between Augustine Eguavoen’s men and Guinea-Bissau will hold at the Stade Omnisports Rounde Adjia on Wednesday.

Eagles have already made it to the Round of 16 after spanking Egypt and Sudan respectively.
