AFCON 2022: Tyrone Ebuehi Arrives Super Eagles Camp

Tyronne Ebuehi has arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Garoua, bringing the total number of players available for the Africa Cup of Nations to 26.

According to Super Eagles officials, two players are still expected.

Tyrone Ebuehi arrived three days before the team’s first match against Egypt.

The Venezia player has 10 Super Eagles caps after making his debut against Togo in 2017.

Jamilu Collins (SC Padeborn 07, Germany) and Odion Ighalo are both expected (Al-Shabab Riyadh, Saudi Arabia).

Despite the fact that the Nigeria Football Federation had stated that Ighalo would not compete in the continental tournament, the player refused to train in the hopes that the Saudi Arabian club would reconsider their stand.

Francis Uzoho (AC Omonia, Cyprus); John Noble (Enyimba FC); Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa); and Maduka Okoye (Enyimba FC) are the goalkeepers (Sparta Rotterdam, The Netherlands).

Defenders: Chidozie Awaziem (Alanyaspor FC, Turkey), Kenneth Omeruo (CD Leganes, Spain), Oluwasemilogo Ajayi (West Bromwich Albion, England), William Ekong (Watford FC, England), Olaoluwa Aina (Torino FC, Italy), Zaidu Sanusi (FC Porto, Portugal), Olisa Ndah (O (Venezia FC, Italy).

Midfielders: Frank Onyeka (Brentford FC, England); Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City, England); Chidera Ejuke (CSKA Moscow, Russia); Kelechi Nwakali (SD Huesca, Spain); Joseph Ayodele-Aribo (Glasgow Rangers, Scotland).
