By halftime they led 36–18, thanks largely to Amy Okonkwo’s 15 first-half points and five rebounds.
Off the bench, Victoria Macaulay made her presence felt in the paint, while the defence forced turnovers and converted them into easy baskets.
The third quarter effectively decided the contest as Nigeria pulled away to 66–31.
Okonkwo finished with 18 points and six rebounds; Ezinne Kalu added five assists; Nicole Enabosi scored 12 points; Macaulay chipped in another 12; and Elizabeth Balogun contributed 11.
Beyond sealing a place in the last four, this result also punches Nigeria’s ticket to the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup qualifiers in March.
Alongside Senegal, Mali and South Sudan, D’Tigress will represent Africa on the global stage next year.
