Again, Buhari Promises to  Leave a Peaceful Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari, has reassured Nigerians that the country will be more peaceful when he leaves office in 2023.

Buhari, who met with security chiefs and top government officials in Abuja today, said his administration would leave the country safer than when he assumed power in 2015.

The president gave the assurance during the Emblem Appeal Launch for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa on Wednesday, November 16.

The President also announced a N10 million donation towards the appeal fund.

He further made a call for Nigerians and corporate organisations to support veterans and families of fallen heroes whose past sacrifices have kept the country together.

Dignitaries who were present at the event are: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; National Assembly President Ahmed Lawan; Ministry heads, and military and security chiefs, among others.
