The House of Assembly member representing lsoko South 1 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Kenneth Ogba is dead.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the lawmaker slumped and died about 9pm on Sunday in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of the state.
Sources say Hon Kenneth died of a heart related attack after attending a function in the area on Sunday.
The lawmaker was reportedly rushed to a hospital in the Oleh, where doctors pronounced him dead on upon arrival.
His death was first made public by the Special Assistant on New Media to the Delta state government, Ossai Ovie Success.
“Sad One, we just lost Delta House of Assembly member Representing Isoko South LGA Kenneth Ogba now. This is sad and painful. May his soul RIP,” Ossai wrote.
Hon Kenneth Ogba’s death is coming just five months after Hon. Tim Owhefere, the former majority leader of the Delta Assembly, died in Asaba.
Hon Tim Owhefere was a fourth time lawmaker representing Isoko North Constituency. He died after a brief illness on January 27, 2021.
