A group of yet-to-be-identified Vandals have once again disrupted power supply in Abuja state.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the vandals reportedly vandalized the 330kV Lokoja–Gwagwalada transmission line, in Abuja.

Confirming the incident in a statement released on Sunday, November 10, the the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN noted that the attack happened in the early hours of Saturday, November 9.
They added that after failed attempts at transmitting electricity, linesmen were sent to the location, where the vandalized tower was discovered, and according to them, it affected three transmission towers.

The statement added that the vandals damaged transmission towers T306, T307, and T308, and stolen two spans of aluminum conductor, causing a disruption in bulk power transmission along the route.
While expressing disappointment at the incident, TCN has urged locals to cooperate with security operatives to prevent further vandalism.
