Joe Ajaero, the National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), visited the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
Ajaero arrived at 10:17 am and spent about an hour before leaving at 11:15 am.
During his visit, he declined to comment on the purpose of his visit or provide any information to the media.
However, he indicated that he would address the press at the NLC headquarters later.

Ajaero’s visit to the IRT headquarters was in response to a police summons issued on August 20, which alleged that he had connections to terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.
Although he was unable to attend on the initial date, Ajaero assured the authorities that he would comply with the invitation today.
He was accompanied by a team of supporters, including Femi Falana, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Marshal Abubakar, Deji Adeyanju, and senior NLC officials.
