Super Eagles’s defender, Oluwasemilogo Adesewo Ibidapo Ajayi shortened as Semi Ajayi has persisted in his impressive run of games with a motive to promoting West Bromwich Albion back to the English Premier League.
The Albion relegated to the Championship at the end of the 2017 / 2018 season and their struggle to secure the top of the championship table since then has always proved futile.
This time may however be a miraculous season for the Baggies who now mount the top of the table with 25 points in 12 games following a slim 1-0 victory over Birmingham City on Friday, 15th of October.

The 27-year-old Ajayi who was in the starting squad against Birmingham played an important role in his 11th game for Westbrom as he played the entire minutes of the encounter to snatch the entire 3 points for his side.
After the goalless draw in half-time, Karlan Grant scored in the 75 minute to settle the tie.
Former Rotherham United’s Ajayi who has only one goal for Westbrom finished off a great work from Captain Jack Livermore.
As it now is, Bournemouth who sits next to Westbromich Albion in the Championship table share the points with Albion but are behind only on goal difference.
However, The Baggies still have a long way to go and must not relent as Bournemouth’s outstanding match if won, would descend them from 1st to 2nd spot.
