Immediate past Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council in Western Zone, Chief Frank Akiefa, has congratulated the duo His Royal Majesty Elder Captain Joseph Timiyan (Agbonu) and His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Arikawei, the Ebenanoweis of Ogulagha and Obotebe kingdoms respectively, on their appointment into the Delta State Traditional Council.

In a congratulatory message obtained by Daily Report Nigeria, the Pere-Agbe of Ogbolubiri Mein Kingdom poured encomiums on the duo, who are paramount rulers of his paternal and maternal homes.

Akiefa, who described the traditional rulers as pillars of their respective kingdoms, also commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for counting the duo worthy of their new roles.

Expressing conviction that the paramount rulers will live up to expectations in their new roles, Akiefa said;

“You have indeed displayed strength as pillars of your respective kingdoms, no doubts.

“I congratulate you on your appointments into the Delta State Traditional Council with convictions that you are equal to the task before you.

“I also want to single out Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for commendation, for particularly counting the above trio and every other traditional ruler on the new list of the State’s Traditional Council.

“This further demonstrates that every strata of governance is essential to the further growth and development of our dear State.

“Together, we shall make Delta State great. Congratulations,” Akiefa added.
