Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has reacted to allegations of ritual sacrifice made by his daughter, Jane, in a trending video.
The governor maintained that his family is intact and attributed the video to detractors. According to Governor Eno, the video is an attempt to distract him from his duties.
In the video, Jane accused her father of attempting to use her for sacrifice, claiming her mother and brother died under suspicious circumstances.

However, Governor Eno denied the allegations, saying, “My family is intact and you can see all of them here.”
He added that the event in the video took place immediately after his wife’s death last year, and questioned why it was surfacing now.

Governor Eno blamed political detractors for circulating the old video as a tool of distraction.
He emphasised his focus on serving the people of Akwa Ibom State, saying, “I can’t be detracted, I remain focused. I will continue to serve Akwa Ibom people.”
The governor also stressed that family should be off-limits in politics.
