The lawmaker representing Burutu North Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo on Saturday played host to Dr. Kingsley Magbei, the Best Graduating Medical Student of the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Amassoma, Bayelsa State.

The lawmaker lauded Magbei, who hails from Obotebe, Burutu Local Government Area, as ‘a constituent who has made the entire Constituency proud.’

Alapala described Kingsley’s feat as ‘impeccable’, stressing that ‘intelligence of this sort must be appluaded.’

Alapala then awarded a N100,000 monthly stipend to the young chap, while pledging absolute support towards enabling Kingsley succeed in the medical profession.

Dr. Kingsley Magbei was inducted into the Medical and Dentist Council of Nigeria (MDCN) on Tuesday alongside 60 others of the institution.

Kingsley made headlines after being adjudged the Overall Best Graduating Doctor of the set.

Best Graduating Doctor, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences

FMC Yenagoa, ARD award for Academic Excellence for the Overall Best Graduating Student.
