Smith Rowe turned Iwobi’s delivery into a goal just over a minute after he came off the bench, rescuing a point for Fulham.
The quick finish swung momentum and proved decisive in a tight game.
The assist lifted Iwobi’s Premier League tally to 67 goal contributions (31 goals, 36 assists).
That total now places the 29-year-old alongside Shola Ameobi and Kelechi Iheanacho, with only Yakubu (121) and Nwankwo Kanu (83) ahead of him among Nigerians.
The former Arsenal midfielder played the full 90 minutes and drove Fulham’s attack from start to finish.
