Alex Iwobi expressed his satisfaction with Fulham’s performance in their Premier League match against Leicester City on Saturday.
Fulham secured their first win of the new Premier League season with a 2-1 victory over the Foxes at Craven Cottage, with Iwobi scoring the decisive goal.
Emile Smith Rowe, one of Fulham’s new signings, opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a clinical finish past Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. Although Wout Faes managed to equalize for Leicester, Iwobi delivered the winning goal after a great setup by Antonee Robinson.

Reflecting on the match, Alex Iwobi shared that he was especially driven to secure all three points following a narrow defeat at Old Trafford in their season opener.
“We were proud of our performance against United, but we didn’t get the result we wanted, so it was only right we got our first three points at home, and there’s no better feeling,” Iwobi told FFCTV.
“The main message was to start on the front foot, and I believe that we did. Especially in the first thirty minutes, we were dominating the game in my opinion.”
