NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko said that routine steps caused the delay in paying the Super Falcons’ allowances.

He explained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu signed off on every bonus, even those for the final game, and told the Nigerian Football Federation to send out the payments before the end of today.
Dikko stressed that women players now receive the same competitive bonuses as their male peers, thanks to an equitable yearly sports budget.
“Our priority is ensuring the team receives the support it deserves,” – he added.
As Saturday’s WAFCON final at Rabat’s Olympic Stadium nears, Dikko praised the Falcons’ Mission X push for a tenth championship.
He lauded their laser focus, welcomed the wave of backing—from supporters nationwide to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and said he’s fully confident they’ll bring home the trophy.
