American rapper, Coolio is dead.
Born Artis Ivey Jr, Coolio died aged 59 on Wednesday.
The grammy-award-winning musician reportedly died in the bathroom of his friend’s house in Los Angeles.
Coolio’s manager, Jarez Posey confirmed his death in a chat with TMZ.
He said;
“Coolio went to the bathroom at his friend’s house, but when he didn’t come out after a while, the friend kept calling for him and eventually went in and found Coolio laying on the floor.”
The paramedics were contacted and pronounced Coolio dead on the scene.
Though an official cause of death has not been determined.
But, according to Jarez, the paramedics suspected Coolio suffered cardiac arrest.
