In a bid to support Tobi Amusan and help her overcome the stress of her suspension by the Athletes Integrity Unit (AIU) prior to being cleared for participation in the ongoing World Championships, the United States has sent a prominent sports psychologist to Team Nigeria’s base here in Budapest.

Amusan, who holds the World Athletics Record in the 100m hurdles, expressed that she has moved past the distress caused by her suspension by the AIU on charges of Whereabouts Failures.

However, it has been reported that a distinguished American sports psychologist has arrived to provide her with the necessary encouragement to excel in Budapest.

An official from the team was heard mentioning that the American psychologist arrived in Budapest on Tuesday morning specifically for Amusan’s benefit.
