Kylian Mbappe quietly returns to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for training while his contract negotiations with the club remain unresolved.

Despite the ongoing stand-off, Mbappe joins his teammate Neymar as they reunite during pre-season training, as captured in a video shared on PSG’s Instagram account.

Mbappe has informed PSG of his decision not to sign a new contract and instead intends to let his current deal expire next summer.

However, the club has made it clear that he must either agree to a new contract or be sold during this summer transfer window, as they are unwilling to lose him without compensation.

Real Madrid has long expressed interest in acquiring Mbappe’s services and rumors have linked them to a potential €200 million (£171m/$225m) transfer this summer.

Nevertheless, the Spanish champions might opt to wait until next summer, when they can secure the talented player on a free transfer.
