The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) has announced the commencement of its 2024-2025 scholarship for postgraduate students.
This is part of the strategy of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) to reintegrate ex-agitators from the Niger Delta by providing them with opportunities to pursue higher education.

Applicants must be indigenes of the Niger Delta States, which include Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross-river, Delta, Edo, Ondo, Imo, and Rivers.
Applicants are required to submit their 2024 JAMB results, though they can begin the application process before these results are released. Eligibility is restricted to new entrants at the Master’s degree level, this is to ensure that only fresh postgraduate students benefit from the program.

For Undergraduate studies candidates must provide the following documents:
WAEC/NECO with a minimum of 5 Credits including English Language and Mathematics
JAMB result
Local Government (L. G. A) letter of identification
Letter of Admission
Birth Certificate/Age Declaration

For those applying for a Master’s degree, additional documentation is required beyond the standard undergraduate application materials. These include a statement of result or degree certificate, a transcript of their first degree, and an NYSC certificate. This ensures that all applicants meet the academic prerequisites for advanced studies.
For ex-agitators, candidates must have a UN Code.
