The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says the planned 5G network in the country will not make the rates of data and call expensive.

Engr. Ubale Maska, Executive Commissioner, Technical Services of the NCC, gave the assurance at a Stakeholder Engagement Forum on 5G Spectrum Auction on Thursday.

He said: “Competition will make 5G network costs flexible. It would force down the price because this would bring about a good profit margin.
