Nigerian-British boxer Anthony Joshua has announced that his next fight is scheduled for September 20 or 21 at Wembley Stadium in London.

Joshua spoke about his upcoming fight and his potential opponent. His last match was against Francis Ngannou on March 8.

The identity of his next opponent will be influenced by the results of the June 1 card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On that card, Deontay Wilder is set to fight Zhilei Zhang, while Filip Hrgovic faces Daniel Dubois. Joshua indicated that he is likely to take on the winner of one of those matches.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Joshua mentioned that he is ready to fight as soon as he is given the date. “It’s going to be in London, at Wembley Stadium. This is what I’ve been told,” he said. “Wembley, September 20 or 21.”

Regarding his potential opponent, Joshua explained that the June 1 card will play a key role in deciding. He noted that his advisor, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, has expressed interest in Joshua fighting the most impressive winner from that event.
