Anthony Joshua’s dinner in Dubai suddenly changed when UK Anti-Doping Agency agents turned up without warning and carried out a random test while he and promoter Eddie Hearn were eating, a clip Hearn posted shows.

Hearn uploaded the short video to social media and wrote:

In the clip Hearn says, “Just want to say, unbelievable scenes. UKAD turn up.” 

The camera then lands on Joshua, who smiles, flexes and quips: “Ed, they must have seen my chin-ups.”

The scene highlights how top fighters stay in the testing pool even when they’re between fights.

As the British Boxing Board of Control’s anti-doping partner, UKAD can request samples at any time.
