Anu Adeleke’s mother, Ayo Labinjoh, has reacted strongly to Davido’s DNA controversy comments, accusing the Afrobeats star of bullying her daughter and misrepresenting the truth. The long-running Anu Adeleke DNA controversy resurfaced after Davido publicly addressed the issue on social media. The singer stated that five DNA tests had already been conducted and described Anu and her mother’s claims as baseless.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Davido wrote:

“After 5 DNA test … she dey crase .. her and her mom better leave me the fuck alone and go find her papa …”

He further claimed that he does not know Ayo Labinjoh personally and that their only interaction was during the DNA testing process.

Reacting via Instagram, Labinjoh rejected Davido’s statements, insisting that both she and her daughter have been unfairly treated. She made it clear that she is not Davido’s baby mama and objected strongly to the language used against her.

“I am not Davido’s baby mama. I am not a bitch,” she stated.

Labinjoh revealed that the controversy has taken a serious toll on Anu Adeleke’s mental health, explaining that the teenager cried for days, fainted at school, and later required psychotherapy due to years of online bullying.

She also addressed claims about her past, saying Davido ignored her for years because of false assumptions about her background.

“I was a waitress, not someone picked up on the streets,” she said, adding that she comes from a respectable family.

Labinjoh went further to allege irregularities in earlier DNA testing, claiming that a test conducted in 2014 was mishandled.

“Anu’s blood was drawn at a lab, not a hospital, and later discarded behind our backs. A fake result was printed,” she alleged.

She accused Davido of threats and intimidation and said she is now considering asking the US State Department to supervise an independent DNA test to ensure transparency.

“My daughter is not fighting for money. She is fighting for her identity,” Labinjoh stressed.“Bullying my daughter is WRONG.”
