The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as false a viral report claiming to outline the prices of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
The widely circulated graphic alleged that presidential aspirants would pay ₦200 million, while state assembly hopefuls would pay ₦20 million.

Reacting, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the report as entirely fabricated and unauthorised.

“The attention of the APC has been drawn to a false and misleading report… The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE, and did not emanate from the Party,” he said.
Morka clarified that the party had not taken any decision regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections.
“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections,” he added.
He further dismissed the report as “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.”
The ruling party urged its members, the media, and the general public to disregard the information, stressing that official announcements would be made through proper channels when due.
