Moving the motion, Chief Muri Awolaja, an apex APC leader from Sagamu Local Government Area, praised Dapo Abiodun as a true son of Remoland who has shown strong leadership capacity and commitment to development.
According to him, the governor is eminently qualified to represent Ogun East Senatorial District at the National Assembly based on his track record in office.
The motion was seconded by a former Chairman of Remo North Local Government Area, Dapo Odunsi, who agreed that the district would benefit from Abiodun’s experience at the Senate.
