Mallam Salihu Lukman, the National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC) for North-West, has dragged the national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, and national secretary, Iyiola Omisore to court.
Lukman alleged that the pair breached the Constitution of the party.
This is as Lukman issued an ultimatum to Adamu and Omisore to convene an emergency meeting of the National Executive Council to address the anomalies in the party.

The national vice chairman for North West also accused Adamu of running a one-man show and reducing the National Working Committee members to mere rubber stamps.
In the suit filed by Lukman’s lawyer, Mohammed Abdullahi of Lexhill City Attorneys, the plaintiff gave the secretary of the party 30 days to respond to the summons.
A source at the APC secretariat who spoke with newsmen said:
“They were officially served this afternoon. In fact, I can even say confidently that members of the NWC are equally aware that Lukman has matched his threat with action.”
