•Sanwo-Olu Leads Team of Over 300 Key Political Figures
In a strategic move ahead of the upcoming Ondo State gubernatorial elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Chairman of the Ondo State National Gubernatorial Campaign Council.
This announcement was made by Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the National Organising Secretary of the party, on Thursday night.
The newly formed Campaign Council boasts a robust membership of 306, comprising influential political figures including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Minister of Budget Atiku Bagudu, Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu, and Senator Simon Bako Lalong, among others.

Argungu stated that the inauguration of the Campaign Council is scheduled for October 28, 2024, at the International Event Centre (The Dome) in Akure, Ondo State, starting at 12 PM.
He emphasized the significance of this council in mobilizing support for the APC in the upcoming elections.
