The Youth Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the federation, on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo at his Oporozawei Ware in Oporoza, headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom.
The visit was to commend the foremost freedom fighter for his unwavering support to the President Bola Tinubu led government.
The Ijaw leader was also presented with multiple awards for his bravery and selfless service to the growth and development of Nigeria.
The youth leaders, who were hosted by Comrade Napoleon Kenerekedi, Delta State APC Youth Leader, and led by Jamaludeen Kabir, Deputy Natioal Youth Leader, said;

“We the members of the youth wing of the All progressives Congress APC representing the entire youths of the party from the 774 local Government Areas and the 8809 wards in Nigeria,do express our appreciation for granting this audience.
“This visit is to join you in marking the successful one year anniversary of His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’S Administration.
“We have also, after a careful observation of your antecedence, resilence, dedication to commitment for a better and progressively productive Nigeria, under the Renewed Hope Agender of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, decided to identify ourselves with you.
“It will interest you to note that before your intervention in ensuring the security of the Nigerian assets, our oil production was around 900,000 barrels per day, but through your intervention it has risen tremendously to 1.5m per day, which is no mean fit.
“This has consequently increase our GDP, generated employment, reduce insecurity and a guaranteed safer water ways.
“It is our believe that collaborating with the APC Youth wing will further extend your notable goodwill to the grassroot.”
The Ijaw leader was subsequently presented with an Award of Honour, in recognition of Tompolo’s commitments to go above and beyond to provide outstanding services in securing our water ways and protection of the nation’s economy, and another in recognition of his youth empowerment across the nation.
