The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is recruiting a Programme Assistant to support its polio cluster in the health section.
According to UNICEF, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective delivery of the country programme, consistent with its rules and regulations.
The Programme Assistant will provide administrative, procedural, and operational support to the polio cluster, including processing contracts, preparing and filing documents, and maintaining records.

They will also be responsible for arranging meetings, taking minutes, and providing travel assistance to staff members.

To be eligible for the position, applicants must have completed secondary education and have at least five years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience.
Knowledge of UNICEF administrative policies and procedures is also required.
The appointment will be for a period of 364 days, and the deadline for applications is October 7, 2024.
