Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has publicly expressed regret for not getting involved in internet fraud, known locally as ‘Yahoo Yahoo,’ in Nigeria.

In a recent Instagram post that has gained significant attention, Aremu Afolayan conveyed his disillusionment with the current state of legitimate business in the country.

Speaking in pidgin English, he lamented, “All the time people were talking about Yahoo Yahoo, today I regret not participating. Legitimate hustling now feels so useless,” adding the hashtag #aremuafolayan.

His comments followed the recent sharp increase in fuel prices by NNPCL, which has exacerbated the economic difficulties many Nigerians are facing.
