Arise TV’s Rufai Oseni has received death threats from unknown persons.

The vocal anchor of the Arise Televisions Morning Show took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Oseni, a number called him to threaten his life and that of his family members.

The multiple award-winning journalist also tagged the official handle of the Nigerian Police Force while displaying the number.

He wrote;

“0905 478 8221 this number called me and threatened my life and my family @PoliceNG

Nigerians react as Rufai Useni, family receive death threats

However, Nigerians took to the comment section of the journalist’s post to show solidarity for his work.

“I’m sorry to hear that you and your family are being threatened. I know this may be hard truth, Nigeria police will come out and say that number is not existing?

“Why not look into private security agency in my own opinion (IMO). God will keep watching over you. He that watches over Israel is neither sleep nor slumber 🙏🏽%

Meanwhile, @drarthurazuka said;
