Troops of the Nigerian Army on Sunday arrested injured bandits inside a health facility in Zamfara State.

The bandits numbering about 8 formed a part of a group of outlaws who fled aerial bombardment by the troops on Friday.

Daily Report Nigeria learnt that a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jet had targeted a number of camps during an interdiction mission.

Scores of bandits under different notorious groups and their leaders long declared were eliminated in the attack.

They bandits operated under Alhaji Zaki, Alhaji Maidaji, Kachalla Doso and Kachalla Kariga, all operating at Shamushelle in Birnin Magaji.

“Security operatives intercepted about eight injured bandits at a clinic where they went to seek medical treatment,” an officer told PRNigeria.
