The operation, carried out by troops, also led to the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of several items used to perpetrate criminality in the area.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Danjuma Jonah Danjuma, Acting Deputy Director, 6 Division Army Public Relations, the operation was painstakingly conducted by troops, who traced an interconnected hose to a tank from Indorama (Eleme Petrochemicals) pipeline, far behind the fence in the bush.

The statement added that several items were recovered from the sites, including two pumping machines, long hose, and eleven drums used to perpetrate criminality.

The Army has enjoined members of the public to provide actionable intelligence on the activities of economic saboteurs and their collaborators to security agencies.
