Arsenal extended their lead over Premier League champions Manchester City by four points with a dominant 5-0 victory over Chelsea on Tuesday night.

The Gunners had already taken the top spot with a 2-0 win against Wolves.

At the Emirates Stadium, Mikel Arteta’s side completely outplayed the struggling Blues.

Leandro Trossard scored the first goal in the opening half. After halftime, Kai Havertz and Ben White each found the net twice, completing a comprehensive win for Arsenal.

The win brings the Gunners to 77 points, three ahead of Liverpool, who face Everton on Wednesday.

Manchester City will take on Brighton on Thursday.
