Arsenal have reportedly entered the competition to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta.

According to Football Italia, the Gunners are prepared to offer €50 million for Lookman, potentially including Jakub Kiwior in the deal. Although Lookman had recently attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain, the Ligue 1 club’s interest appears to have waned.

Ademola Lookman, who played against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup last Wednesday, requested to be excluded from Atalanta’s Serie A opener against Lecce on Monday. He was also absent from training on Wednesday, with Sport Italia’s Alfredo Pedullà suggesting it was due to his refusal to participate.

Arsenal’s bid is reportedly worth €50 million plus bonuses, with the possibility of Kiwior being included to adjust the overall fee, potentially on loan with an option to buy. Despite the offers, Atalanta remains keen on retaining the 26-year-old and is ready to significantly increase his wages following a strong season where he scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 45 matches.
