Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has accepted the fact that Arsenal were the better side yesterday as they lost 1-0 to the

Martinelli who scored early in the second half to hand the Gunners a big win at the King Power Stadium.

The result would see them go in a good position at the standings, but Arsenal had two goals disallowed in the both halves.

It was the second straight win for Mikel Arteta’s men and they briefly opened a five-point gap which was later reduce to two when Manchester City ran riot against Bournemouth that same day.

“They were clearly better than us. We were too passive when we had the ball, we weren’t quick enough with it.

“When we got to the final third we could not find that last pass. They are at the top of the league for a reason, and I thought they showed that,” Rodgers said.
