Nigerian singer, Asake has won the Next Rated Artist and Album of The Year at the 2023 Headies Awards.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the 16th Headies Awards held on Sunday at Atlanta, Georgia for the second year in a row.

Mr Money defeated the likes of Seyi Vibez, Young John, Khaid and Odumodublvck in the much coveted Next Rated category.

His album, Mr Money With The Vibe saw off competition from Love, Damini by Burna Boy, Rema’s Rave & Roses, Omah Lay’s Boy Alone, Victony (Outlaw) and Davido (Timeless).

Asake joins Simi (Simisola), Asa (Asha), and Kizz Daniel (New Era) as artists who won the Headies Album of the Year with their debut albums.
