Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, celebrated her Pichichi Award by netting a brace in Barcelona’s UEFA Women’s Champions League 6-0 win against Rosengard.
Oshoala won the Pichichi Award for finishing as top scorer in the Spanish Primera Division Women League for the 2021/2022 season.
Her goals helped Barcelona set the record for the most scored by a team in the competition’s group stage.

Oshoala lso ranked 17th in the Women’s Ballon D’Or, a record for the African continent.
She scored 20 goals despite battling injury for most part of the season and featuring in just 19 games.
Oshoala was presented the Pichichi trophy on Tuesday alongside teammate Geyse Ferreira who also scored 20 league goals.
The five times CAF Women Footballer of the Year opened her recent encounter with a goal in the 10th minute before adding a second goal in the 16th minute.
Mapi Leon then extended Barca’s lead with a third goal just before the break.
Three second-half goals from Fridolina Rolfo, Marta Torrejon, and Irene Paredes sealed a comfortable 6-0 win for the Spanish Queens.
The 28-year-old Nigeria forward was substituted in the 81st minute and replaced with Victoria Lopez.
The win ensured Barcelona sit top in Group D with 15 points from six games and qualified for the quarter-finals.
