Aston Villa are considering Kelechi Iheanacho as a potential replacement for Jhon Duran, who is a target for Chelsea.
Iheanacho is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Leicester City. According to Football Insider, Aston Villa will pursue the striker once Duran completes his move to Chelsea.
Chelsea are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Duran this summer. Meanwhile, Iheanacho has not yet decided on his future, despite strong interest from clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
There are reports suggesting that Iheanacho would prefer to stay in the Premier League, having spent seven years playing in England.
