The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) on Monday, blocked roads leading to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

The angry students continued their protest against the prolonged industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

The students defied a heavy downpour and caused gridlock on the road leading to the airport as many travelers were left stranded.

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, RRS operatives, Lagos Airport Police Command, and other security agencies were also seen on ground.

The students, who bore placards with varying inscriptions, chanted solidarity songs to echo their displeasure with the Federal Government.
