Today, Ademola Lookman, a player for Atalanta, will be aiming to break his dry spell of not scoring a goal in Europe for 18 games. Atalanta is going up against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League Round of 16 first leg match.

The last time Lookman scored in a European game was back in December 2017 when he netted twice for Everton in their 3-0 win against Apollon Limassol. Since then, he hasn’t found the back of the net during his spells with RB Leipzig and Leicester City.

Even after joining Atalanta, Lookman hasn’t managed to score in any European competition yet. However, he did score a goal in their recent Serie A match against Bologna, which was his eighth goal in the league and his tenth in all competitions this season.
