Btazillian football club, Atletico Mineiro have signed Spanish striker, Deigo Costa.
The Spanish striker who left Atletico Madrid following the termination of his contract signed for Brazilian table leaders as announced on Sunday.
The former Chelsea forward made seven appearances for Atletico Madrid last season, scoring two goals.

His last match was on December 22, 2020, where he came on as a substitute for Uruguayan Luis Suárez.
Diego Costa returned to the Spanish capital following his departure to Chelsea in 2014, winning the English Premier League under then Blues Manager Jose Mourinho.

He ended his second stint at Atletico Madrid upon the termination of his contract with the club.
The Brazilian-Spanish forward was born in Lagarto, represented Brazil in two friendlies, before switching to represent Spain at the International level, making 24 appearances for La Rojas.
He will add an extra option in attack to his new club that has the likes of Hulk, Eduardo Sasha, Eduardo Vargas of Chile, Jefferson Savarino of Venezuela, and the Argentine Ignacio Fernández.
Atlético Mineiro is currently in the quarter-finals of Copa Libertadores, having won the first leg encounter against Argentina’s River Plate 1-0 and hopes to progress to the Semis when they host them in Brazil.
