Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, has opened up about coming to terms with her father’s death. She revealed that “The Kids Are All Right,” the outro on her upcoming sophomore album “The Year I Turned 21,” is a tribute to him.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Ayra Starr said, “I end the album with a song called ‘The Kids Are All Right,’ which is my niece singing about dad and finally coming to terms with the death of my dad.”

Ayra Starr’s album “The Year I Turned 21” is set to release this Friday and features collaborations with Asake, Seyi Vibez, Giveon, Anitta, Coco Jones, and Mil.
