Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has urged his old club to sign Spain’s Euro 2024 standout, Nico Williams, during this summer’s transfer window.

Sagna praised the Athletic Bilbao winger’s technical skills and expressed confidence that Williams would be a perfect fit for the Gunners.

Williams has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Barcelona.

In an interview with Paddy Power, Bacary Sagna, who also played for Manchester City, said,

“I would love to see Nico Williams at Arsenal. He represents the freshness at the club, he’s got the legs. He is very good technically; he’s good in between the lines and can find passes. He would fit Arsenal perfectly and if he comes to the Premier League, I would love to see him there. But I believe he will go to Barcelona and be reunited with the devil on the right wing, Lamine Yamal, and both of them are amazing.”
