BREAKING: Bandits Abduct Emir’s Son, 6 Others in Zamfara

In a tragic incident early on Monday, some bandits launched an attack on the headquarters of Bungudu Local Government Area in Zamfara State.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the bandits, armed with deadly weapons, entered the town and began shooting indiscriminately.

Seven individuals, including the son of the Emir of Bungudu, Abdulrahman Hassan and the Former State Programme Officer of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Abubakar Fada Bungudu were also abducted by the hoodlums.

One person was also left dead during the attack.

Meanwhile, the Zamfara State Police Command Spokesperson, ASP Yazid Abubakar was yet to respond to several phone calls put across to him as of press time.
