Bandits Abduct Passengers, Kill Driver in Zamfara

A gang of armed men have attacked travellers in Zamfara state.

The gunmen were said to have attacked and abducted the travellers while on a journey in the state.

According to security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the incident happened on Saturday, on April 26 along the Bagaga-Anka road, around 11:40am.

The driver of the vehicle was killed, and five other passengers were abducted.

Upon receipt of the report, security operatives swung into action, and mobilized to the scene

Efforts to rescue the abducted victims are ongoing, with security agencies intensifying their search for the perpetrators.
