A gang of bandits have attacked a brutally murder a man in Katsina state.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the victim, identified as Aliyu Yahaya, a member of the Hunters Association of Nigeria (HAN), 31, was murdered, and his body abd house awt ablaze by the bandits in Magamar-Jibia town, Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.

According to the deceased’s brother, Salisu, the bandits also abducted Aliyu’s wife and son, alongside three neighbors on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
He added that the bandits invaded his home, overpowered and killed him before setting his body on fire inside his room.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Abubakar Sadiq said;
“Yes the incident happened and investigation is ongoing with the view to arrest the perpetrators and rescue the kidnapped victims,”
The incident has sparked outrage among residents, with many calling on the government to take urgent steps to address the worsening menace.
