The prime minister of Bangladesh has fled the country following the weeks of deadly protests in the country.
According to reports, the PM, Sheikh Hasina, 76, has tendered her resignation letter, as confirmed by the military, as well as the the Bangladesh High Commission Officials in Delhi, and fled the country, alongside her sister to India.

The protest in Bangladesh have been reported to be very deadly as the last clash which happened on Sunday in the Jatrabari and Dhaka Medical College resulted in 95 death of which 14 were police officers in the Jatrabari and Dhaka Medical College areas on Monday.
It reportedly started in July with the aim of tackling the civil service job quotas.

It later expanded to the issues about the economy, corruption under the prime ministers rule.
Ms Hasina was the longest-serving female leader in the world. She survived numerous assassination attempts and jail time.
Ms Hasina is reported to have fled the country as anti-government protesters vowed to march to the capital to demand her resignation on Monday.
