Barcelona have reached an agreement to terminate the contract of Barça Atlétic (team B) coach Rafa Márquez. The club announced the news on their website on Sunday.
The statement revealed that the Mexican coach, who has been with the team for two years, will be stepping down from his role.
“Rafa Márquez will not continue as coach of Barça Atlétic,” the statement read. “The Mexican has reached an agreement with FC Barcelona to rescind his contract as he seeks to take on a new professional challenge.”
