Barcelona announced on Friday that the club has replaced Thiago Alcantara with Arnau Blanco as an assistant coach under manager Hansi Flick.
Thiago Alcántara was recently appointed to the role, but the club has now decided to bring in Blanco, a former U16A coach at Barcelona, to join Flick’s coaching team.
In a statement on their website, the Catalan club confirmed the change, saying, “Arnau Blanco joins Hansi Flick’s coaching team in place of Thiago Alcántara, who today, Friday, August 16, has his last day with the squad.”
